Steve was born in Lichfield, Staffs, UK and now lives locally again. He is married, with two daughters. He works as a computer consultant.

Racing

1989 - races in a Triumph 2000 Mk 1 ended with 2 class wins in the Classic Saloon Car Club's Pre-65 Championship

1990 - In his first full season, Steve wasCSCC Pre-65 Class B Champion with a number of class wins & lap records

1991 - Steve succeeded in retaining the CSCC Pre-65 Class B Championship , with a further number of class wins

1992 - With a change of car to a Ford Capri 3000 Mk 1, Steve entered the CSCC Post Historic Touring Car Championship, for pre-74 cars. In his first season, he was runner-up in Class B

1993 - Again, Steve was runner up in Class B

1994 - After a move to Scotland , Steve entered the Scottish Road Going Saloons, competing against Sierra Cosworth's & BMW M3's in his 1971 Capri . Although he didn't win in this series, his only outing in the Scottish Modified Saloons resulted in a class win

1996 - After a year's sabbatical, and a move back to England , Steve re-entered the CSCC's Post Historic's to again finish Class B runner up. He also entered a race at the infamous Spa-Francochamps Grand Prix circuit in Belgium

1997 - A busy year, when Steve raced again at Spa-Francochamps, & competed in both the CSCC's Post Historic & Group One, (for Pre-83 cars), Championships.

1998 - With a change to a newer Mark 3 Ford Capri 3000, Steve entered the CSCC Group One Championship.

1999 - A full season saw Steve finish 4th in Class. In the last few races a new Boxridge built engine saw the car move up the grid. 

2001 - In his first race of the season in the WRDA Sports & Saloons Championship, 2nd in Class, establishing a lap record. A further highlight at Donington Park in the CSCC Group One Touring Car Championsip, (Pre-83), resullted in a 3rd in class and a Class B win in the CSCC Pre-90 Series after an exciting battle with 2 BMW M3s.
