Championship winning team, Unitec Motorsport, are seeking to complete their 2010 line-up and currently have 2 drives available for the 2010 BRSCC FF1600 National Championship.
The BRSCC FF1600 National Championship is the ideal first-step for any aspiring single-seater driver looking to progress up through the ranks. With its mix of experienced veterans and career-minded young chargers, and with races at all the UK's major race circuits, it's the best place to develop the essential skills and techniques required for competitive driving. Seen as a stepping stone onto British Formula Ford, many of its graduates have gone on to achieve success further up the single-seater career ladder, up to and including F1. Most notable recent graduates include Wayne Boyd, 2008 British Formula Ford Champion and Formula Ford Festival winner. Along with its ever increasing television exposure and regular presence in motorsport press coverage, the Championship offers fantastic opportunities for sponsors, and drivers who do well will be sure to get noticed. Overall, with its comparatively low costs, the Championship is a very attractive package, probably a reason for its success and popularity with drivers and teams alike over a 40-year period on the UK motorsport scene. So for prospective drivers, to ensure that you're at the sharp-end of such a highly regarded championship, why not take advantage of one of Unitec Motorsport's drive offers. Utilising one of the team's current-spec Van Diemens, the most successful marque in Formula Ford, you'll be in the best position for overall success in 2010. The cars are professionally maintained, have all the latest updates, and are powered by engines supplied and developed by BBE, one of the UK's leading FF1600 engine builders. All of this ensures that the cars are at peak performance for each race meeting, leaving you to focus on the race ahead. In addition, the cars are equipped with data-logging systems to assist with car setup and driver tuition. Driver tuition comes courtesy of David Grady, 2008 FF1600 Midlands & South Champion and FF1600 National Championship Runner-up. If you are serious about your racing and feel as though FF1600 is the category for you in 2010, then this opportunity is far too good to miss. As well as the National Championship, we can also cater for the North West, Midlands & South and Castle Combe championships. Pre-season testing is also available. Serious enquiries should be directed to Russell Grady using the contact details below.
